Board member seats are available to individuals / stakeholders who live, work, or regularly volunteer (for a non-profit) in the Woodland Hills – Warner Center area.
- To qualify as a Business Representative, you must own a business or work in the area you are serving
- To qualify as a Residential Representative, you must own or rent property in the area you are serving
- To qualify as a Community Based Organization (CBO) Representative, you must regularly volunteer for a non-profit in the area you are serving
- To qualify as an Alternate Representative, you must own/rent property, work in, or volunteer for a non-profit in the area you are serving (alternates can fill any vacant position in their area if one becomes available)
Estimated Time Commitment: 5 – 20 hours per month (based on your availability and involvement)
Board members are expected to:
- Attend monthly Board meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (they alternate between in-person at LAFD Station #84 on Burbank and via Zoom each month)
- Miss no more than 3 Regular Board meetings in a 12-month period
- Serve on at least 1 WHWCNC Committee
- Volunteer at the WHWCNC Outreach Booth at one or more community events
- Volunteer at the WHWCNC Outreach Booth at one or more Summer Concerts at Warner Park
