Resources

The Committee works with our local homeless services organizations to provide assistance to those that are homeless or at risk of being homeless.  We also work with stakeholders to address those impacted by differences arising from homelessness.

Activities

The committee’s primary activity is to be advisory to Council District 3 Bob Blumenfield’s office.  We engage by writing Community Impact Statements and working with the CD3 office on local homeless issues.   Other activities include assisting in homeless outreach events such as the Homeless Services Connect Day, and assisting organizations that work with the homeless by volunteering, donation, and providing Neighborhood Purpose Grants.
