This Saturday, L.A. City Attorney Mike Feuer, in partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District, is hosting a Community Hearing on SCHOOL SAFETY. This will be a crucial conversation about kids, threat assessment and gun violence prevention. They will have presentations from leading experts and community input as well. The meeting is Saturday, May 12: 2-4pm at Valley Academy of Arts and Sciences, located in Granada Hills at 10445 Balboa Blvd. You can park in the structure located in the alley on the south side of the school, between the school and Pizza Cookery. Refreshments will be served and Spanish translation will be available.
