For this month’s Clean-Up, we will be identifying and counting the empty Tree Wells in the area so that we can request new trees from the city.
If you are available to help, please join us on
Saturday March 2, 2024
Meet at 8am. Rain or Shine.
Coffee Bean at 21851 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills.
We will be driving and counting the empty tree wells on the concrete sidewalk only.
This is for missing street trees.
You will:
- Identify by name the street you are counting including your direction (North, South, East, West)
- Note the street cross street where you begin and end.
- Count the empty tree wells to your right. Turn around and count the empty tree wells on the same street going in the opposite direction.
- Send the information you collected to Karen so we can consolidate a report.

We can use your help to clean-up Woodland Hills!
Every month, the Neighborhood Council identifies an area in our community that needs a little TLC and volunteers remove overgrowth and trash as well as trim trees and bushes as needed. The more volunteers we have, the more impact we can make. No experience necessary. Simply show up and we’ll provide the tools.
On February 10th (please note date change due to expected rain on Feb 3rd), we will be clearing the Center Divider on Ventura Blvd at Oakdale (across from the ex-Osh business), from 8:30-10:30am
We look forward to seeing you there!
