Woodland Hills Impacts and Policies Committee Meeting

Updating the Community Plan is a hot topic and the committee is holding discussions on what advice and assistance the Neighborhood Council can provide the Los Angeles Department of City Planning. The main agenda items are:

• Further discussion for formulating outreach topics, survey format and media to be used pertaining to the Woodland Hills Warner Center Neighborhood Council participation in the current Community Plan Update efforts of the Planning Department. To be considered will be notifications to Stakeholders, expansion of the outreach effort to the entire NC and its committees including the Outreach Committee. The NC budget items and the process of budget allocation may be included in this agenda item to cover the costs of social media advertising, online postings, possible flyers/mailers, information on workshops/forums/presentations at NC meetings.
• Continued discussion of issues that will be of importance related to the revisions to the Community Plan. The discussion will be particular to comments and information submitted in writing by the Committee Members. This is not an action item at this time as more discussion and stakeholder input is anticipated to be required.
