WHWCNC HOMELESSNESS COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING

Stakeholders and the public are permitted to address the Committee on any item on the Agenda prior to the Committee taking action on said item. It is requested speakers complete a “Speaker Card” and hand it to the Chair. Comments from Stakeholders and the Public on Agenda items will be heard only when the respective item is being considered. Comments within the Committee’s subject matter jurisdiction on other matters not appearing on the Agenda will be heard during the Public Comment period. Public Comment is limited to 20 minutes. Each speaker is limited to two minutes, unless waived by the presiding officer of the Committee.

Opinions, positions or actions taken by the Woodland Hills-Warner Center Neighborhood Council do not represent or imply similar opinions held by the Owner, Landlord, L.A.U.S.D, Business or representatives of any venue hosting a meeting of the Council Board, or Committee.

Item no. (2) Homelessness Resource Fair
Discussion and possible action:
Participation and/or visitation of DONE Homelessness Resource Fair. Homelessness Resource Fair is on 4/20/19

Item no. (3) Community Impact Statements
Discussion and possible action:
Discussion of community impact statements that Impact the west valley. Continuation of previous impact statements.

Item no. (4) Bridge Housing
Discussion and possible action:
Discussion of the bridge housing project in Canoga Park and how it will impact CD3 and Woodland Hills

Item no. (5) Homeless Outreach
Discussion and possible action:
Discussion of the Homelessness Committee working in conjunction with nonprofits and LAHSA to conduct outreach in Woodland Hills

Item no. (6) Upcoming Topics
Discussion of potential CIS or letter in response to recent deaths of homeless individuals in the LA area. Also, discuss other potential topics of public interest.
