Review what we need in our Go Bags for Home, Car and Work
Update our kits with suggestions from FEMA, Red Cross and our fellow community members
Replace expired items in our kits and batteries in our smoke detectors

Are you prepared? What have you done to prepare this year?
Water barrels are filled & secure
Several weeks’ worth of groceries are on hand
First aid kits are updated (replace expired products, damaged bandages)
Extra supply of medications, glasses or contact lens are in Go Bag
Copies important documents are in a sealed and sturdy plastic bag
Stash of cash – especially small bills are in Go Bag
Personal Grab ‘n’ Go bag (Go bag, Bug-out bag) is near the front door along with applicable Car kits, Pet kits, and Work kits.

Please bring to the meeting:
Your Emergency Kits, Backpacks or Go Bags (to remind you what is in there & what you still need – – and to check for expiration dates)
Any new Emergency Toys you’d like to share with the crowd
And as always, in the last 5 minutes of the meeting – – if you have any non-CERT community news that you would like to announce, please feel free to do so.
