VIRTUAL MEETING TELECONFERENCING and PHONE NUMBER FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

In conformity with the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20 (MARCH 17, 2020) and due to concerns over COVID-19, the Woodland Hills-Warner Center Neighborhood Council meeting will be conducted entirely telephonically.

Every person wishing to address the Neighborhood Council must either dial +1 669 900 6833 or go   online via Zoom and enter Webinar ID # 817 3953 2210 and then press # to join the meeting. When calling-in telephonically, the public is requested to dial *9, when prompted by the presiding officer, to address the Board on any agenda item before the Board takes an action on an item.  Zoom users     should use the “raise hand” feature.

*PUBLIC INPUT ON AGENDA ITEMS – The public may address the Board on any agenda item before the Board takes an action on an item. Comments from the public on agenda items will be heard only when the respective item is being considered. Public comment is limited to (1) minute per speaker.

 

*PUBLIC INPUT ON MATTERS NOT ON THE AGENDA – Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the agenda will be heard during the General Public Comment period. Please note that under the Brown Act, the Board is prevented from acting on a matter that you bring to its attention during the General Public Comment period; however, the issue raised by a member of the public, that is within the WHWCNC Board’s jurisdiction, may become the subject of a future Board meeting.

General Public Comment is limited to(1)minute per speaker and 20 minutes total.

 

Due to zoom teleconference which allows greater public comments at meetings; Public Comment is limited to (1) minute per speaker, unless adjusted by the presiding officer of the meeting.

Item No. (2) Funding for Neighborhood Purpose Grant (NPG) for ONEGeneration

 

Discussion and possible action:

 

New motion to approve up to $1,000.00 from the budget line-item One Generation for funding for ONEGeneration senior organization as approved at the February 23, 2021 Budget Committee Meeting.

If approved, the attached NPG will be updated prior to the March 10th Board Meeting.

 

Item No. (3) Planning for 2021 new projects and NPG’s.

 

Discussion only:

 

Discussion of possible new projects and NPG grants that could be reviewed and voted on by the committee      at the March 15, 2021 Community Services Committee Meeting for the April 14, 2021 Board Meeting.

 

  1. New Business, committee member requests and stakeholder requests to be reviewed at the next meeting.

 

  1. Community Services Requests for the Council office – List to be sent to Veronica Vos.

 

  1. Report on current activities in the community that may be of interest to the committee for a future agenda.

The Community Services Committee Meetings are normally held the first and third Monday of each month.

The Regular Full Board Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month.
