There is also information about the election process and responsibilities of board members. Please consider running! CANDIDATE WORKSHOPS
EmpowerLA and the City Clerk are partnering on a series of free two-hour candidate workshops open to existing board members as well as those new to Neighborhood Councils. Included are tips for running a successful campaign; connecting with voters; advocating for issues you’re passionate about; and writing personal statements.
Workshops are being held Citywide January – March 2019. RSVP is required to ensure there is enough desk space for everyone. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet if they have one. Additional dates will appear on the calendar as they are confirmed.
