VIRTUAL MEETING TELECONFERENCING and PHONE NUMBER FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
In conformity with the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20 (MARCH 17, 2020) and due to concerns over COVID-19, the Woodland Hills-Warner Center Neighborhood Council meetings will be conducted entirely telephonically.
Every person wishing to address the Neighborhood Council must dial +1 669 900 6833 and enter Zoom ID No. 832 3421 4033 and then press # to join the meeting. Instructions on how to sign up for public comment will be given to listeners at the start of the meeting. The public is requested to dial *9, when prompted by the presiding officer, to address the Board on any agenda item before the Board takes an action on an item. Zoom users should use the “raise hand” feature.

A copy of this agenda is also physically posted on the outside of the window of the West Valley Warner Center Chamber located at 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Ste 2330, Woodland Hills, CA 91367. The Chamber is located at the Promenade Mall outside the east entrance of the mall and to the left of Ruth Chris Restaurant. The Chamber office is accessed from Owensmouth Street. Parking is free.
AGENDA
1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Roll Call: Geraldine Weiss (chair), Joyce Fletcher, Karen DiBiase, Arturo Velasquez.
3. Public Announcements by city officials and representatives: (3) minutes per speaker .
4. Stakeholder Public Comment Period (on items NOT on the agenda): (2) minutes per speaker .
5. Approval of last Committee Minutes: September 20, 2021. ___________________________________________________________________________________
Items for discussion and possible action:
1. BANNERS: More WHWCNC Logo Banners at more locations on Ventura Blvd. Weiss report and update. Quote for up to 12 more in the area from AAA. See attached.
Motion to approve purchase of more banners for installation along Ventura Blvd.
2. HALLOWEEN / FALL ACTIVITIES. Additional planning for the virtual Halloween competition event which Community Outreach is bringing live online.
3. HOLIDAY CHEER AND ACTIVTIES TO PLAN. Discussion about possible partnering with the Chamber for Christmas decorations along Ventura Blvd. Continued discussion about making our area festive and budget for purchases. We need to order more solar lights and balls if the City gives permission. The City will not allow a banner strung across the street anymore.
Motion to approve purchase of additional solar lights and balls to decorate trees along Ventura from
Canoga to Topanga.
4. WEBINARS. Revisiting the webinars idea for the community on items that are important in each area. Community outreach would be involved.
5. B.I.D. How do we get this started?
7. New Business, committee member requests and stakeholder requests to be reviewed at the next meeting.
8. Community Services Requests for the Council office – List to be sent to representative Veronica Vos/ Time Glick / Seth Samuels.
9. Report on current activities in the Community
