  • GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT – Comments from the public on non-agenda items that are within the WHWCNC’s Board jurisdiction and within the committee’s jurisdiction.

Each speaker will be allowed two (2) minute(s).

 

  1. AGENDA ITEMS

 

For discussion and possible action:

 

  1. Discussion related to new water fountains and lights at Warner Park.

 

  1. Motion to approve a letter to the City related to street racing on Mulholland Drive and Topanga Canyon Blvd. and requesting speed cameras to ticket speeders. Also, a study to be conducted by the City to determine any other ways to address this significant issue.

 

  1. Motion at approve $150 to exhibit a WHWCN booth to participate on May 10, 2025

from 11AM to 5PM at the West Valley Warner Center Chamber of Commerce Community Benefit Foundation 4th Annual Valley Asian & Pacific Islander Cultural Festival celebrating the vast diversity from the Asian cultures that enhance the San Fernando Valley and the City of Los Angeles.

The event will highlight the cultures of Asia and the Pacific Islands focusing on expression through music, dance, food and children’s activities. The San Fernando Valley has a large Asian & Pacific Islander population with over 100,000. They make a substantial contribution to our economy and extended community.

Exhibitor: (Discounted rate up until April 14 th with receipt of completed application and payment. On or after April 15th $250.)

$150 To Exhibit. $250 on April 15 or later. Permit and Equipment fees may apply

 

  1. Discussion: NPG’s and other spending until the end of the fiscal year June 30, 2025.

 

  1. Discussion about ways to support Diversity, Seniors, Veterans and LGBTQ neighbors in our community.

 

  1. Discussion about plans and committee goals for fiscal year 2024/2025.

 

  1. New Business – for discussion and possible action at the next committee meeting.
