GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA – Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the agenda that are within the Board’s jurisdiction will be heard during the General Public Comment period. Please note that under the Brown Act, the Board is prevented from acting on a matter that you bring to its attention during the General Public Comment period; however, the issue raised by a member of the public may become the subject of a future Board meeting. Public comment is limited to two (2) minutes per speaker, unless adjusted by the presiding officer of the Board.

II.               APPROVAL OF MINUTES – January 19, 2025

Each speaker will also be allowed a two (2) minute comment on each agenda item.

1. Discussion of Community Impact Statements and Recommendations for City Council.

The Committee will submit (2) CIS for the following Council Files.

2. Discussion of NC Community Services participation at the following Events:

Saturday, May 2, 2026 – Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival at Pierce College 10am-3pm

 

3. Committee Budget requests by the end of fiscal year June 30, 2026

 

4. Update for damaged NC Banners on Ventura Blvd. Motion for Board decision.

 

5. Committee Plans for 2026/2027.

 

6. New Business – to be discussed at the next committee meeting.
