Are you 16 – 18 years old? Then we want You!

The Woodland Hills/Warner Center Neighborhood Council has updated our bylaws and we now have a board seat available for a dedicated civic minded Youth Representative to serve on our Board. Board Members that serve on the Neighborhood Council Board of Directors participate in discussions of all matters that have an impact on the community.

The Woodland Hills/Warner Center Neighborhood Council represents those who live, work, or own property in Woodland Hills and Warner Center neighborhood, or have an ongoing stake in the welfare of Woodland Hills and Warner Center.

Here's some of what we do:

• We work closely with our City Council representative and their staff to deliver the best possible city services to the people and places that need them.
• We help our stakeholders resolve problems by connecting them with the right people in government.
• We make recommendations on proposed developments and zoning issues.
• We organize community festivals, movie screenings, health & safety fairs, etc.
• We organize neighborhood cleanups and develop other projects for volunteers to get involved in improving their community.
• We educate the community on matters of public safety and emergency preparedness. We work with the police to spread awareness of crime trends and ways to defend ourselves against crime.
• We publish a comprehensive weekly calendar of events in Woodland Hills and surrounding areas.
• You can get involved by joining a committee or helping us clean-up our streets and schools.

Have ideas of what you would like to see the Neighborhood Council get involved with? Great, we’d love for you to have a voice at the table.
