IV. AGENDA ITEMS
For discussion and possible action:
- Discussion and possible action related to PLUM Committee operations and procedures.
- New – Boething Treeland – 23475 Long Valley Rd Woodland Hills, CA 91367
Discussion and possible action related to Boething Treeland Nursery and the sale of the 32-acre property proposed to be developed as a cemetery. It will be similar to other sites owned and operated by the buyer, Comparable Property, which operates the Pierce Brothers Memorial Park in Westlake Village, Pierce Brothers Valhalla in North Hollywood and Pierce Brothers Westwood Village. Anthony Lampe is the marketing director for Dignity Memorial, who will be taking over the land. Per the Warner Center News, according to the City of Los Angeles, no additional zoning approvals are required for cemetery use, so there is not expected to be significant, if any, public input in this process.
