  • GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT – Comments from the public on non-agenda items that are within the WHWCNC’s Board jurisdiction and within the committee’s jurisdiction.

Each speaker will be allowed two (2) minute(s).

 

IV.            AGENDA ITEMS

 

For discussion and possible action:

 

  1. Update on holiday lights on Ventura Blvd. We’ll co-ordinate with the Arts and Culture

Committee, Masha Dowell to hang lights on trees on Ventura Blvd.

 

  1. NPG

Motion to approve an NPG for the benefit of Mini Therapy Horses. A 501(c)(3) non-profit,

who relies solely on the support of the public. Donations will help the organization

continue to bring joy, comfort and hope to sick children, veterans and people who

  1. How to write a Community Impact Statement.

See attached document.

 

  1. Reminder/placeholder- WHWCNC Toy Drive. The 21th Annual Motor4Toys Charity Car Show and

Toy Drive. NC purchase of a space/booth at the car show/toy drive. Dena Weiss will provide a car.

Sunday December 8th from 7am to 11am. We can set up the day before.

Planning for outreach for event.

 

  1. Forums – Discussion about ways to support Diversity, Seniors, Veterans and LGBTQ neighbors in

our community.

 

  1. Discussion of committee goals for fiscal year 2024/2025.

 

  1. New Business – for discussion and possible action at the next committee meeting.
