Judging logistics. Prizes and certificates. \n  \n6  HOLIDAY CHEER AND ACTIVTIES TO PLAN. \nContinuing discussion regarding decorating trees and timetable. \n  \n\nNPG FOR WEST VALLEY FOOD PANTRY\n\nMotion for the board to approve a NPG for $\,1000.00 for the West Valley Food Pantry from the Budget line item NPG General Fund. The Food Pantry provides food and meals to all members of the community who may be experiencing food insecurity\, especially during the winter and holiday season. \n  \n\nWEBINARS.\n\nTopic list to be discussed and possibly approved. Committee members and stakeholders are invited to bring suggestions to the meeting so that a list can be finalized. \nIf we have 12 topics\, a motion to approve the list will be made for the next year so that this can be submitted to Empower LA for approval \n  \n\nUpdate about Lee Marks about the NC donating to the WH Park. and possible NPG.\n\n  \n\nUpdate about B.I.D discussions.\n\n  \n\nNew Business to be placed next month’s committee meeting agenda.\n\n  \n\nReport on current activities in the community.\n\nThe West Valley Family YMCA will be hosting a Thanksgiving food drive for our community members and wanted to share this with our community partners. Families will receive a free turkey and all the fixings for their holiday meal. Our food drive is scheduled for Wednesday\, November 17th from 4-6pm at Westfield Topanga. All families need to do to register is to fill out the FeedLA application. Instructions on how to sign up for public comment will be given to listeners at the start of the meeting. Zoom users should use the “raise hand” feature.\nAB 361 Updates: Public comment cannot be required to be submitted in advance of the meeting\, only real-time\npublic comment is required. If there are any broadcasting interruptions that prevent the public from observing or hearing the meeting\, the meeting must be recessed or adjourned.
