The Secretary shall keep the minutes of the Neighborhood Council; see that all notices are given in accordance with the provisions of these Bylaws; be custodian of the Neighborhood Council’s non-financial records; and perform all other duties as requested by the President and/or the Board. The Secretary shall keep the Bylaws and Standing Rules up to date and shall keep an official list of all Representatives\, Alternates\, and Committee Members and their terms\, and keep a register of the addresses (including electronic address\, if applicable) and telephone numbers of each Representative and Alternate. Elections for Neighborhood Councils across the City are happening on a series of 12 regional dates from November 2020 – June 2021. Board members serve their terms in office as volunteers\, and are elected by the members of the communities they serve. \nAt the Neighborhood Council Candidate Info Session\, you’ll learn tips for: \n\nrunning a successful campaign\nconnecting with voters\nadvocating for issues you’re passionate about\nwriting your personal statements\nfilling out your candidate application with the City Clerk\n\nThis virtual session will take place on Zoom.
