DESCRIPTION:Notice of a CANCELED Public Meeting of the  \nWoodland Hills – Warner Center Neighborhood Council  \nWoodland Hills Issues and Policies Committee  \nThursday\, November 11\, 2021 – 7:00 pm\nVIRTUAL MEETING BY TELECONFERENCE IS CANCELED\nVIRTUAL MEETING TELECONFERENCING NUMBER FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION \nIn conformity with the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20 (March 17\, 2020) and due to concerns over COVID-19\, the Woodland Hills-Warner Center Neighborhood Council meeting will be conducted entirely telephonically. \nA copy of this agenda is also physically posted on the outside of the window of the West Valley-Warner Center Chamber of Commerce located at 6801 Owensmouth Avenue\, Woodland Hills\, CA 91367. (On the Eastside of Westfield Promenade Shopping Center. Parking is available in the parking lot.) \nEvery person wishing to address the Neighborhood Council must dial +1 669 900 6833\, and enter Webinar ID #: 890 7787 1030and then press # to join the meeting. Instructions on how to sign up for public comment will be given to listeners at the start of the meeting. The public is requested to dial *9\, when prompted by the presiding committee member\, to address the Committee on any agenda item before the committee takes an action on an item. \n*PUBLIC INPUT ON AGENDA ITEMS – The public may address the Board on any agenda item before the Board takes an action on an item. Comments from the public on agenda items will be heard only when the respective item is being considered. Public comment is limited to (2) minute per speaker. \n*PUBLIC INPUT ON MATTERS NOT ON THE AGENDA – Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the agenda that are within the Board’s jurisdiction will be heard during the General Public Comment period. Speakers limited to one minute\, 5 speaker limit due to shortness of the time sensitive meeting\n\nApproval of Minutes\n\n\nDiscussion and possible action regarding determining the need for Council Member Blumenfield to initiate the process leading to an update to the Warner Center 2035 Specific Plan to better serve the community.\n\n\nGiven that  the Planning Department believes the Warner Center 2035 Plan may reach the residential limits of the EIR within 6-8 years\, and given that the  economy may be permanently changed\,  and given that the current plan took 8 years to create\, is it time  for the  community to work with planning on updating the plan to meet community needs and improve on some of the discovered problems?  \n\n\nAdjournment \n\n\nSCHEDULE: \nThe next regular Committee meeting will be held on November  11\, 2021 by teleconference. Instructions on how to sign up for public comment will be given to listeners at the start of the meeting. When calling-in telephonically\, the public is requested to dial *9\, when prompted by the presiding officer\, to address the Board on any agenda item before the Board takes an action on an item. Zoom users should use the “raise  hand” feature.  \nAB 361 Updates: Public comment cannot be required to be submitted in advance of the meeting\, only real-time \npublic comment is required.
