Please note that under the Brown Act\,\nthe Board is prevented from acting on a matter that you bring to its attention during the General Public Comment period;\nhowever\, the issue raised by a member of the public\, that is within the WHWCNC Board’s jurisdiction\, may become the\nsubject of a future Board meeting.\nGeneral Public Comment is limited to(1)minute per speaker and 20 minutes total.\nDue to zoom teleconference which allows greater public comments at meetings; Public Comment is limited to (1) minute\nper speaker\, unless adjusted by the presiding officer of the meeting.\nAGENDA\nCall to Order\nAttendance Roll Call: Joyce Fletcher\, Mercy Alpert\, Ray Cole\, Dean Weiss\, Karen DiBiase\, Peter Fletcher\nGeneral Public Comment Period for the public (on items not on the agenda): (1) minute each\nPublic comment is limited to (20) minutes.\n__________________________________________________________________________________________\nItems for discussion and possible action:\nItem No. (1) Current available locations for WHWCNC (10) banners per the City of LA\nLocations may change per availability of sites.\nDiscussion and possible action:\nCurrent available pole locations to hang banners on Ventura Blvd.:\n• (10) poles on Ventura Blvd from De Soto to Alhama Dr; 4/18/2021 – 8/06/2021\n• (22) poles on Ventura Blvd from Premiere Hills to Del Moreno; 2/25/2021 – 2/25/2022\n• (28) poles on Ventura Blvd from Canoga to De Soto; 5/6/2021 – 7/1/2021\n• (36) poles on Ventura Blvd from De Soto to Del Moreno ; 5/6/2021 – 7/1/2021\n• (12) poles on Ventura Blvd from Topanga to Calatrana; 6/14/2021 – 8/6/2021\n• (8) poles on Ventura Blvd from Farralone to Topanga; 9/3/2021 – 2/25/2022\nItem No. (2) Transportation Technology Innovation Zone in Warner Center (TTIZ)\nRequest by the Warner Center Association and local government to support a request letter for\nstate funding to form a Transportation Technology Innovation Zone in Warner Center.\nWarner Center Transportation Technology Innovation Zone\nMOTION:\nMotion to approve a letter of support to the State of California\, in support of the Warner Center Association’s request of funds from the state to jumpstart the Warner Center Transportation Technology Innovation Zone.\nThe Woodland Hills Warner Center Neighborhood Council hereby finds that:\nWHEREAS\, Warner Center is a Regional Center designated by the City of Los Angeles; and\,\nWHEREAS\, Warner Center 2035 Plan encourages business\, housing\, and transportation opportunities; and\,\nWHEREAS\, the Woodland Hills-Warner Center community is joining together to encourage new technologies to be effectuated within Warner Center area as a means of mitigating traffic\, enhancing the pedestrian experience\, and generating new business opportunities; and\,\nWHEREAS\, the City of Los Angeles has designated Warner Center as a Transportation Technology Innovation Zone (TTIZ) by motion of Councilmember Blumenfield and the Los Angeles City Council with support from Mayor Garcetti; and\,\nWHEREAS\, Warner Center has a rich history as a hub for innovation and is the ideal location to deploy and test new technologies and is well situated to attract new industry to the area.\nTHEREFORE\, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED\, that the Board of the Woodland Hills-Warner Center Neighborhood Council is in support of the efforts to seek State funding for four transportation technology programs to be implemented in Warner Center; 1) a transportation technology incubator\, 2) innovative transit pilot programs\, 3) Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Infrastructure study\, and 4) the implementation of public WIFI . This will help to bring state of the art technologies to Warner Center that will position Warner Center as a technological hub for decades to come\, expanding business opportunities and building on Warner Center’s legacy as a place of innovation. The Board of the Woodland Hills-Warner Center Neighborhood Council supports this motion\, and draft letter of support\, as presented on April 14\, 2021.\nSee support document posted on the website with the agenda.\nItem No. (3) Planning for 2021 new projects and NPG’s.\nThe final fiscal year deadline to submit an NPG to the City Clerk is June 1\, 2021.\nThe final fiscal deadline to approve an NPG by the NC Board is May 12\, 2021.\n2020-2021 fiscal year ends June 30\, 2021.\n4. New Business\, committee member requests and stakeholder requests to be reviewed at the next meeting.\n5. Community Services Requests for the Council office – List to be sent to Veronica Vos.\n6. Report on current activities in the community that may be of interest to the committee for a future agenda.\n7.
