Rams Village at Warner Center.\nParking at 6100 Oxnard Street. \n  \n\nDiscussion for Community Services to support the WHWCNC Arts and Culture Committee\n\nBooth at the Dia de los Muertos family festival on Sunday\, November 02\, 2025 \n            10:00am – 5:00pm \nhttps://www.mainstreetcanogapark.la/history. \n  \n\nDiscussion for the committee to help staff the booth at the Woodland Hills Rec & Park\n\nCenter Halloween event on Saturday Oct 25th (10am-2pm). \n  \n\nMotion to approve funding for $500 from the 2025/2026 WHWCNC Budget for a booth\n\nat the Motor4Toys Charity Car Show 2025 – Sunday December 7\, 2025 from 6:30am to 12:00pm \nat Pierce College in Woodland Hills. All proceeds from the event will be used to purchase toys \nfor needy children. All toys collected at the event will be distributed to needy children. \n  \n\nDiscussion. Information from Last Year’s festival/2024\n\nAnnual Valley Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival \nWest Hills Warner Center Chamber of Commerce Asian Fair – In May 2024\, from 11AM-5 PM\,  \n            we will be presenting the 4th Annual Asian Cultural Festival.  \n            Exhibitor: (Discounted rate up until April 14th with receipt of completed application and payment.  \n                On or after April 15th $250.) \n            $150 To Exhibit. $250 on April 15 or later. CD3 and City Planning request to clarify and define ordinances and laws related to how close a smoke shop can be located next to a school and children’s activities. If there is no law\, then request to City Council to take up the matter and create an ordinance restricting the number of feet a tobacco smoke shop can be located from a school in all zones. Kate\nRevised Request: The cost of a booth at the event is $500 Funding request to reapprove previously approved agenda item for $250 to a new revised request for up to $500.00 from the 2025/2026 Budget to purchase a booth at the Grateful Hearts Event. West Valley-Warner Center Chamber of Commerce Community Benefit Foundation Presents the 16th Annual Grateful Hearts – a fundraiser for our local first responders. Funds generated from this community event help provide essential items for firefighters and officers which are not covered by City budgets. The Resolution states that cat declawing is a cruel and unethical surgical procedure that includes the amputation of the first knuckle of each cat’s toes\, resulting in lifelong disfigurement and pain.
