In conformity with the Governor\u2019s Executive Order N-29-20 (MARCH 17, 2020) and due to concerns over COVID-19, the Woodland Hills-Warner Center Neighborhood Council meeting will be conducted entirely telephonically.<\/p>\n
Every person wishing to address the Neighborhood Council must dial +1 669 900 6833, and enter Zoom ID 938 9924 1002 and then press # to join the meeting. Instructions on how to sign up for public comment will be given to listeners at the start of the meeting. The public is requested to dial *9, when prompted by the presiding officer, to address the Board on any agenda item before the Board takes an action on an item.<\/p>\n

For discussion: Whereas the Centers for Disease Control has recommended that sweeps of homeless encampments be suspended during the pandemic because of the risk of exacerbating community spread of SARS-CoV-2 into surrounding communities, and whereas the City Council recently\u00a0voted to resume sweeps of homeless people adjacent and near to bridge-housing projects, the Homelessness Committee wishes to discuss the implications of this City Council vote and to hear from the CD3 office as well as members of the public in order to facilitate a transparent discussion\u00a0on the public-health risks involved by such sweeps.<\/p>\n
