Rams Village at Warner Center.<br \/>\nParking at 6100 Oxnard Street.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Motion to approve funding for one or more of the following items in support of Fire Station 84.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>At the request of Community Services Committee Chairperson Joyce Fletcher, the Fire Station<\/p>\n<p>provided the following list of items they need.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>-Dyson Cordless Vacuum for our upstairs from Costco (Amazon $600)<\/p>\n<p>-JBL Party Box Speaker for our gym and apparatus floor (Amazon $600)<\/p>\n<p>-Gift card to Cook&#8217;sDirect.com to purchase new pots and pans<\/p>\n<p>-Gift cards to Home Depot or Harbor Freight to purchase tools for the station<\/p>\n<p>-Commercial\u00a0Hoover Backpack Vacuum from Home Depot (Amazon $600)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Discussion related to securing a historical designation for the American Legion Hall as it was \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 once a horse stable and then a makeup room at the Warner Brothers Studio in Woodland Hills.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In 1951 the building was personally donated by Harry Warner and moved to its current location.<\/p>\n<p>Discussion includes a NPG for American Legion Hall with previously approved $500 funding<\/p>\n<p>for a project. Julian<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Update on Letter of Recommendation to be sent to Councilmember Blumenfiled related to<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>request for the City Council to adopt an ordinance that includes the following standards that are<\/p>\n<p>required for Marijuana Dispensaries.<\/p>\n<p>Those standards include forbidding minors from entering the premises, ensuring that each location<\/p>\n<p>is not within a 1,000-foot radius of a school or within a 600-foot radius of a public park, public library,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 religious institution, childcare facility, youth center, alcoholism\/ drug abuse recovery or treatment \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 facility, among other restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>New Business \u2013 to be discussed at the next committee meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>\u00a0 ADJOURNMENT<\/h1>\n<p>As a covered entity under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Los Angeles does not discriminate on the basis of disability and upon request will provide reasonable accommodation to ensure equal access to its programs, services, and activities.
