It is a platelet, and Plasma donation center.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lapl.org\/\">LOS ANGELES PUBLIC LIBRARY<\/a><br \/>The Los Angeles Public Library offers free and easy access to information and learning opportunities for children, teens, and adults. It is accessible through various locations, including the downtown library, eight regional libraries, 55 community libraries, four bookmobiles, and the internet. The library provides state-of-the-art technology, including<br \/>computerized logs of library materials, internet access, access to a wide range of topics, library information, service hours, and event schedules.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/locator.lacounty.gov\/lac\/Location\/3176727\/los-angeles-public-library---woodland-hills-branch\">LA LIBRARY - WOODLAND HILLS<\/a><br \/>The Woodland Hills Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library, funded by a 1998 municipal bond measure, opened in 2003. Designed by Barton Phelps &amp; Associates, it features a mixed-media art project and a donation of artwork preserving the community's past.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lafd.org\/\">LOS ANGELES FIRE DEPARTMENT<\/a><br \/>The Fire Department provides fire protection, response, and emergency medical services for Los Angeles cities and San Fernando County. It is led by five major bureaus, including the Administration, Training and Support, Emergency Operations, Fire Prevention and Public Service, and Emergency Services Bureaus, each performing specific functions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lafd.org\/fire-stations\/station-84\">LA FIRE DEPARTMENT - STATION 84<\/a><br \/>The Los Angeles Fire Department, with 3,200 uniformed members, responds to over 1,300 emergency calls daily, protecting four million people and transporting over 600 to hospitals. This station is located at 21050 Burbank Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lafd.org\/fire-stations\/station-105\">LA FIRE DEPARTMENT - STATION 105<\/a><br \/>The Los Angeles Fire Department, with 3,200 uniformed members, responds to over 1,300 emergency calls daily, protecting four million people and transporting over 600 to hospitals. This station is located at 6345 Fallbrook Ave, Woodland Hills, CA.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lapdonline.org\/lapd-contact\/valley-bureau\/topanga-community-police-station\/\">LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT - TOPANGA DIVISION<\/a><br \/>The Police Department enforces penalties on the City Council, ordinances, and laws to protect people and maintain peace within the community. Their duties include investigating complaints, investing in reprimands, apprehending suspects, presenting evidence, detaining arrested persons, regulating traffic, investing in traffic accidents, ensuring proper traffic laws, and implementing necessary safety measures.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/woodlandhillsfarmersmarket\">WOODLAND HILLS FARMERS MARKET<\/a><br \/>The local certified farmer's market, held every Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm at 5650 Shoup Ave, Woodland Hills CA 91367<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mayor.lacity.gov\/\">MAYOR\u2019S OFFICE<\/a><br \/>The Mayor's Office is responsible for running the City's daily administration and working with the legislative body to ensure laws are enforced. The elected Mayor leads City Council meetings, provides leadership, receives input from citizens, and makes decision-making decisions. LA Mayor Karen Bass has been serving since 2022 and has worked closely with various government departments to implement executive directives that benefit the community.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aging.lacity.gov\/\">DEPARTMENT OF AGING<\/a><br \/>The Department of Aging advocates for the interests and welfare of senior citizens by administering programs that provide services to older adults and seniors in the City of LA. The department is responsible for planning, contract development, and funding, as well as monitoring the programs developed by their contracted service providers for their seniors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.laanimalservices.com\/\">DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL SERVICES<\/a><br \/>The Department of Animal Services maintains houses and shelters for lost and abandoned animals, enforces animal-related laws and regulations, and provides measures to prevent animal cruelty.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ladbs.org\/\">DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND SAFETY<\/a><br \/>The Department of Building and Safety offers services to achieve compliance with building, zoning, plumbing, electrical, disabled access, energy, green codes, and land and structure requirements to build a safe, healthy, and efficient city. The department offers various services and resources for homeowners and landlords within the city, including counseling, code permits, property records, requests, payment fees, and checking zoning and property information.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/culture.lacity.gov\/\">DEPARTMENT OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS<\/a><br \/>The Department of Culture and Arts promotes arts and culture to create dialogue, engage residents, and ensure diverse cultures are recognized, learned, and experienced. It is responsible for grantmaking, public art, communicative art, form art, and marketing, development, design, and design research.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/empowerla.org\/\">DEPARTMENT OF NEIGHBORHOOD EMPOWERMENT<\/a><br \/>The Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE), or Empower LA, supports LA's Neighborhood Councils citywide, promoting civic engagement and enabling local governments to respond more effectively to local needs. They consist of volunteer elected officials who monitor crime rates within their communities, ensuring better community engagement and responsiveness.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.laparks.org\/\">DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION AND PARKS<\/a><br \/>The Department of Recreation and Parks operates and maintains a large number of locations throughout Los Angeles, including over 420 parks on over 15,000 acres, 184 recreation centers, two statewide championship centers, and 31 senior centers. The department's facilities include 13 golf courses, 368 children's playgrounds, 256 ball fields, 56 soccer fields, 321 tennis courts, 61 swimming pools, 92 miles of hiking trails, 18 skate parks, and an outdoor roller hockey rink.<br \/>As well as county beaches, and museums.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ladwp.com\/\">DEPARTMENT OF WATER AND POWER<\/a><br \/>The Department of Water and Power supplies the city and its inhabitants with water and electricity, is responsible for educational projects, and provides schools and communities with fresh water and power.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ewdd.lacity.gov\/\">ECONOMIC WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT<\/a><br \/>The Economic Workforce Department aims to support economic development in Los Angeles, generating jobs, creating employment, and providing opportunities for the City, focusing on dedicated work for the environment, sustainable neighborhoods, and profitable communities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/emergency.lacity.gov\/\">EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT<\/a><br \/>The Emergency Management Department coordinates the preparation, planning, training, and recovery activities of the City's Emergency Operations Organizations, its divisions, and all City departments. They provide emergency preparedness services to other municipalities, state and federal agencies, and the private sector. EMD has five divisions with administrators and specialists who work with City departments, municipalities, and various community-based organizations. All efforts are made to ensure the City and its residents have the resources and information needed to prepare and respond from emergencies, disasters, and significant events.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/housing.lacity.gov\/\">HOUSING AND COMMUNITY INVESTMENT DEPARTMENT<\/a><br \/>HCIDLA aims to build affordable neighborhoods through housing development, code enforcement, and community services. It manages the following community service projects previously operated by the former Community Development Department: Family Service Centers, Office of the Traffic Secretary, Domestic Violence Services, Community Action Board, Commission on the Status of Women, Human Relations Commission, Community and Family Services Commission, and Environmental Review.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hacla.org\/en\">HOUSING AUTHORITY DEPARTMENT<\/a><br \/>The Housing Authority Department is a leading public housing authority in Los Angeles, providing affordable housing and rent to low and very low-income households. They own and operate housing units and administer Section 8 Rent Assistance vouchers through various programs. They also provide economic development, employment education, and social programs as part of their commitment to foster healthy communities and promote economic self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawa.org\/\">LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS<\/a><br \/>The Los Angeles World Airport manages and supervises all flights and cargo operations under the jurisdiction of the City of Los Angeles, including the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the Oakland International Airport (ONT), the New York International Airport (VNY), and the Portland International Airport (PMD).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lazoo.org\/\">LOS ANGELES ZOO<\/a><br \/>The Los Angeles Zoo is a great place to explore with family and friends, nurturing the human spirit and offering educational tours led by volunteer docents.
